FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What are the different strains?

Indica

Relaxes the body, great for relaxation purposes, stress relief, and for an overall sense of serenity and tranquility.   The indica variety is commonly used to treat insomnia.  It is higher CBD than THC equals a much heavier sleep.

It’s relaxing effects can help many different medical problems. Indicas have a high CBD content which can lead to the couchlock  experience( the green haze of sitting on the coach and just chilling).

Effects of Indica (lower THC, higher CBN/CBD):

Indica generally more physical than cerebral (however, the relief of physical symptoms can have a positive psychological effect)

  • Sedation, pain relief and relaxation
  • Best for later in the day and bedtime
  • Better for anxiety than depression

Sativa

Can give a rush of energy and a buzz in the body, that heightens the senses. Some people find it  a great way of getting work done without being sucked into your couch.  The sativa high is thought of as being uplifting and optimistic.  It can be your new workout partner. It is also said that since sativas contain a very high THC content, they are best for dealing with certain pain symptoms. There are many medicinal uses for sativas.

Benefits of Sativa (high THC, low CBN/CBD):

  • Reduces nausea
  • Stimulates the appetite
  • Fights drepression
  • Positive, uplifting, cerebral effect
  • Energizes and stimulates
  • Promotes creativity
  • Relieves headaches and migraines
  • Relaxes muscles, relieves pain

How long does it take to feel the effects of the edible?

It is also very important to understand that it often takes 45 minutes or longer to feel the effects of an edible. In some cases, it may take two or even three hours. If you become impatient and eat more before your initial dose has kicked in, you will be much more likely to over medicate.

In addition to being aware of the time it takes before you begin to feel an effect, you should also keep in mind that the effect will usually last for three to four hours. A larger dose may be felt for even longer, so be sure to think ahead to the rest of your day before deciding how much to consume. Because of the delayed onset, edibles can be excellent at helping you stay in a deep sleep through the night.

What do I do if I ate too much?

If you do accidentally over medicate with edibles, try to relax. Although you may feel uncomfortable or disoriented, remember that cannabis cannot kill you. The feelings are only temporary, and you will feel normal again within an hour or two. Sit or lie down, close your eyes, and breathe normally. Taking CBD oil or smoking CBD-rich flowers can reduce the paranoia and anxiety caused by too much THC. Drink water and eat a high fat food like peanut butter or coconut oil to help. THC attaches to fats so it will help.

What strains do you use ?

We use  a mixed blend of Indica and Sativa for our butters and  THC Concentrate (CO2) – Solvent Free. All are  tested for potency, mold, fungus, and pesticides.
